I have a DVD empire....

I picked up Tokyo Majin vol 2 w/ artbox, BBB vol 2, Monochrome Factor vol 2 (manga), and an EXIA figure, so that Kyrios won't be lonely anymore, yesterday from Neo Tokyo.

Today I set out on the search to figure out which album of Seether's that Rise Above This was on. Found it, d/led it. Yes that's right I d/led it, but wait it gets better. Then looked at futureshop to see how much it was, $16.99, but then decided to look at bestbuy.ca, but figured it would be the same price like it usually is, but it was only $11.99. Also looked up Jericho while i was on the site, and it was listed as $37.99, which is in fact lots cheaper than $59.99 that i keep seeing it as. So i go there and look and look and see no sign of Jericho in te TV Shows section, and then turn around and my mom's missing. So i look for her, and find her at another section where there are also TV Show boxsets, and she has Jericho in her hands. *pounce* ^___^ And then i look around that wall and find such cheap ass prices. @_@

Yes, the hunt for the perfect items should/must begin soon so that closer to the actual date of the shower I can find out that there is a theme and buy more stuff. Sure is the way of the world and my small issue of not being able to wait.

I mean i don't even like babies or kids, but i like buying stuff for ppl. -_-
I fail at being the average 'in it for themselves' human being. Not that that is a bad thing or anything though.... *flashes back to last thursday and those 2 young guys from the 'gospal church of jesus christ'*

Anyways the mission: To find something not too morbid or disturbing or anime influnced baby items.

Maybe this will be a good time to check out the cheeky monkey? It's right here in the city (can't get more handy than that) and i'm sure i could find it/i think i've since it. They've got bottles from France... sure it may be a tad pricey in the store, but i may find a few items worth it.

About 500 employees were given word today, that with in a year (12 months) they would no longer have jobs, that the plant would be shutdown.

Just another example of 'oh gee whiz our plants in the US suck and are failing so let's shutdown our Canadian ones so our retarded employees in the US can still not do a good job and on top of that we can employ more of those same idiots' Thank you - Downingtown, Pennsylvania, you suck.

Yes this is personal, it's very fucking personal, first they start on about poor sells in the Auto instrusty, because everyone is way more interested in buying, to be frank, Japanese cars, then NA ones (alright, really American ones, 'we are the world' and all that) but maybe just maybe if they tried building a car that people actually want to drive, they could stop whining, and use a different excuse to close down the most used and active plants in Canada, to open new ones in the US, where they already have them, but they suck/are failing. Makes sense right? NO WAY.

My Aunt works at Campbell Soup. A lot of people work at Campbell Soup. I'm sure for it's 48 year run, a hell of a lot of people worked at Campbell Soup in Listowel Ontario. But now it's all over. It's the end.

day off, so naturally last night i went to bed at 9pm, cuz i had a migraine. Still had it when i got up.... i still have it, if you were wondering, also a bit of a fever. I was freezing this morning, and then hot in the after noon... still warm.

Talked to the ice bitch, and she gave me the talk, after saying 'no'.

But you know what? I didn't really care to hear all the reasons why she'll be giving us the same hours until christmas time. First off she SAID it was only going to be for a couple of weeks, which of course was a lie.

I'm sorry but my back doesn't really like these hours. My brain doesn't either, nr does my eating timetable. I get home at 3:40pmish, eat LUNCH at 4pm, and have dinner around 6pm.... and then go to bed at 10pm, cuz i get sleepy.

enough of that crap....

firstly stealing images from misshallelujah, but i say 'stealing' loosely as i will put them in her folder, and rename it to reflect her current name.

2ndly (my computer just froze for 5 secs) mods get a lot of shit, don't they? Also finger pointing, and blamed for everything, and usually it just at one, and not everyone involved, but that's fine, that 's how it works sadly. I have first hand experience with it, and tend to lend toward other modders sides from different places. For example the amount of stupid idiots on animeost.net is unbelievable. So occassionally i'll say something like: 'first baka post of the day' keeping in mind that i am a member of Team Baka on the forum, and it is used in a more jokingly way, as apposed degrading. Then that's when everyone feels the need to jump me. Then I take this as a moment to see if those other idiot mods, the ones that have lots of opinions about how "we" should mod, but they themselves do nothing. (GFX mods mostly, but 'we' do have plans to vote them off of their high horses) that just maybe, maybe they would post in the thread telling everyone to cool it, but that of course never happened, and i just had to close it. -_- Well in short I understandthe shit that gets thrown at mods, when they were just making a joke.

I've only had a person issue in one community, the escaflowne one.
Gundam 00 is entertaining at times, but also a tad too dramatic and ... i guess 'childish' will work. Repeative too. I mean... Graham... manga... shower... yes... seen it 50 bilion times and i didn't care the first time!!! LJ cut that huge image! (i prefer only friends journals to be huge, not community ones)

i did manage to catch a comment directed at the man in question, about how he couldn't be a mod and be a fan with opinions at the same time. <-- that is my first baka post of this day, thank you.

i think i posted about it already but just in case....

Ordered the Kiba Character Guide/fanbook thing, because even though the fanbase seems lacking, I loved that show. Still shocked that it has been licensed. Link.
Also the PVC (i think that's what it's called) Lelouch figure. ^^ Link.

So should most likely arrive next week, they are pretty fast at delivering that kind of thing. By 'they' i mean Canada Post. I swear they are the slowest most useless people ever.

Mon, wed-thurs: 8:30am - 2:30 pm

First I get there at my normal time: &;45am and siti in the food court for 30 mins or so....
Then i may or may not have a few boxes to open, and then i wait and wait and wait until some kind of stock shows up. I say 'some kind' because usually what is on the flat cart is a mixture of boxes from, but not limited too (this is an average housewares cart): housewares, linens, china, kids, jewelry (yes, you're reading right) , lingerie, cosmetics, ladies wear, luggage, ladies accessories, shoes, olympic, major home.... i think i've been men's free so far though. Also I get storage (falls under Housewares) in the linens stock room, and decorative in the housewares room, that's linens btw.

On Monday our brave receiver, Jamie went home sick, so that was a fun long boring day of nothing. I came in on Tuesday for a 4 hr shift, and really i feel like accomplished more in 4 hrs then in 18hrs. It's true really.

Working til 2:30pm means after catching the bus at 2:45pm, i get home at 3:40ish, and then I have my lunch, and suddenly it's supper time. @_@

i want to tell Kim that i can only work til 1pm, 1:30pm max, and then I can skip the bus ride home. Seriously I'd be willing to work 2 - 5 hr shifts; and 2 - 4hr shifts. That would still equal the 18hrs.

On Tuesday we found out why Bill's been absent, he had some kind of surgery, just don't know what it was.
Also we got word that on Monday, April from jewelry on her was to work was involved in a car accident. She was upgraded from critical to serious. She's got a broken collar bone, and a broken back.... i guess i'll post more, when or if they tell us more... she's not in good shape.

Mary Anne had a bone scan on Wednesday, they are looking for bone cancer of all things. She found out a few days ago that she would be needing Hip replacement surgery. And the doctor wanted to check out the swollen part , becuase of fluid being in there, for the possibility of Bone cancer. She has a history of Cancer. She had Breast Cancer.

Sorry this post went from Pissed Off to depresso... but i hadn't posted about work in a bit so... yeah.
