day off, so naturally last night i went to bed at 9pm, cuz i had a migraine. Still had it when i got up.... i still have it, if you were wondering, also a bit of a fever. I was freezing this morning, and then hot in the after noon... still warm.

Talked to the ice bitch, and she gave me the talk, after saying 'no'.

But you know what? I didn't really care to hear all the reasons why she'll be giving us the same hours until christmas time. First off she SAID it was only going to be for a couple of weeks, which of course was a lie.

I'm sorry but my back doesn't really like these hours. My brain doesn't either, nr does my eating timetable. I get home at 3:40pmish, eat LUNCH at 4pm, and have dinner around 6pm.... and then go to bed at 10pm, cuz i get sleepy.

Mon, wed-thurs: 8:30am - 2:30 pm

First I get there at my normal time: &;45am and siti in the food court for 30 mins or so....
Then i may or may not have a few boxes to open, and then i wait and wait and wait until some kind of stock shows up. I say 'some kind' because usually what is on the flat cart is a mixture of boxes from, but not limited too (this is an average housewares cart): housewares, linens, china, kids, jewelry (yes, you're reading right) , lingerie, cosmetics, ladies wear, luggage, ladies accessories, shoes, olympic, major home.... i think i've been men's free so far though. Also I get storage (falls under Housewares) in the linens stock room, and decorative in the housewares room, that's linens btw.

On Monday our brave receiver, Jamie went home sick, so that was a fun long boring day of nothing. I came in on Tuesday for a 4 hr shift, and really i feel like accomplished more in 4 hrs then in 18hrs. It's true really.

Working til 2:30pm means after catching the bus at 2:45pm, i get home at 3:40ish, and then I have my lunch, and suddenly it's supper time. @_@

i want to tell Kim that i can only work til 1pm, 1:30pm max, and then I can skip the bus ride home. Seriously I'd be willing to work 2 - 5 hr shifts; and 2 - 4hr shifts. That would still equal the 18hrs.

On Tuesday we found out why Bill's been absent, he had some kind of surgery, just don't know what it was.
Also we got word that on Monday, April from jewelry on her was to work was involved in a car accident. She was upgraded from critical to serious. She's got a broken collar bone, and a broken back.... i guess i'll post more, when or if they tell us more... she's not in good shape.

Mary Anne had a bone scan on Wednesday, they are looking for bone cancer of all things. She found out a few days ago that she would be needing Hip replacement surgery. And the doctor wanted to check out the  swollen  part , becuase of fluid being in there, for the possibility of Bone cancer. She has a history of Cancer. She had Breast Cancer.

Sorry this post went from Pissed Off to depresso... but i hadn't posted about work in a bit so... yeah.

oh, accident prone me at work:

*opens a freakin' heavy ass box with 4 small cast iron cassole dishes inside. Flips the box over on top of another box to dump out the items*
wait for it....
*lifts up the box as the 4 items slide out* ONLY the box that was under it wasn't quite big enough and 2 of the 4 boxes fell out and hit my leg, and then made this super loud thud on the ground. -_- Not only is cast iron heavy it also hurts like HELL when it falls on you. At least i moved the one box that was over where they fell, since it had glasses in it, or there would have been a super mess. Wonder if my leg will hurt like Hell tomorrow?

hmm tomorrow... it's Bay Days kick off, so we get coffee/juice & donuts @ 8:45am, so i'll be working for 15 mins, before taking a coffee break, as it were. wah! my day off tomorrow... is no more. I'm cursed to work on both April Fool's Day and senior's Day.

Why you may ask? Well first off this week all of the stock ppls are set to work 3 - 6 hr shifts, Mon, Wed, Thurs. Those are the days we get trucks. Well today (yes still doing Housewares on top of my Linens stockroom) early I get a couple boxes for Linens, and Ben informs me of 2 flat carts for Housewares... and 2 more downstairs, and i'm like okay, i've got 4 more hrs or so, so that's fine.... Try to stay with me here... I have 2 in there and i'm opening them, he bringing another flat cart (#3) and then #4 and then Charlie (one of the managers) starts helping Ben unload the boxes into the stock room, and i'm trying to keep up with the endless boxes, like there's a mountain at this point, and then Ben pauses for a bit, and i go for my break at 10 mins. to 11am. Teresa says she'll head over and help me out, so Yay! (completely short lived) I get over there, and there's Ben with another flat cart (#5) and he's like... yeah 2 more on the elevator. Me: @_@ Ben: the truck's Housewares. Me: (yeah no kidding). #6 & #7 with help of Charlie (thanks I needed an endless amount of boxes endlessly coming in) Flat cart #8, and me and teresa finally get all the boxes opened, just in time to do last minute clean ups, and I head over the Linens to see the stock load over there (did you forget that Linens in my home?) There's about 2 cart loads in there, and then i head back over to housewares.... Ben's there with another flat cart (#9) and says there's at least one more.... @_@ I'm like okay, when your down, can you close the door behind you? I slink back to Linens and see a flat cart waiting to be dumped inside, and then dive back over to Housewares to tell Ben that he can just push the door open, cuz it doesn't lock anymore, and then I head to drop off my keys, and punch out. On my way out, I see another flat cart waiting for Linens.... @_@

Oh yeah somewhere in there, Kim asked me to come in Tomorrow for a 5 hr shift, I said yes. this week will kill me, I can tell.

So tomorrow I hope Mary Anne can help me out, since no other Stock person will be in but me.

I'm taking them to work for break, because it's Chantelle's last day.

Work next week = 3 days of the bus. I hate that.
Monday: 8 - 2pm; Wed-Thu: 8 - 2pm
Those are our truck days.... BUT it is the week before Bay Days (huge ass sale) so yeah... let's cut back the hours now.... -_-
I'm already getting a shitload of stock from Linens, I don't even know what Housewares got yesterday, but Kamal said most of the truck was Linens... so there we are.

Kamen Rider Kiva is also Saturday or Sunday depending on when the raw comes out.

So it's a tad empty during the week right now, but even in april most of the anime i want to check out falls on sunday & monday, i believe. Which sorta sucks.

So work... Suseela quit, which sucks but... September is a long time to be not there. Rainey came back from his ski trip with his arm in a sling. XD At least the sling is black.


some JERICHO fans feel that The CW wouldn't care about the show to doing anything for it. Really? Go figure? A station isn't there to hold the hand of a series airing on it, all they want is to get something in return. Aslo they keep whining about how the budjet would be cut. Budjet? How much do they need? Most shows blow a ton on FX, JERICHO doesn't have any.
