A clone doesn't have the memories or the previous 'version'
But a copy does.

The d/l goes back to the base./hub thing, and they get 'reborn'

He'll be Number 1, for this series. I think that was Lucy Lawless on BSG, but i'm missed 2 seasons, so a tad confused, yes.
