I only tried it because of Sakurai. I didn't finish watching the first episode. Not for me. :/

really? I watched it raw twice (once to do screens) and subbed... well mainly from this part to the end. lol plus well the start was mainly english anyway. So i think i love it too much. XD

But I couldn't care about the characters met within first half besides Masaki so no.

the opening made me think: 'oh no not another card game series' but still the music! Iwasaki Taku's epic-ness (far better than the kuro ost) with the english and all presumably Lotsu Juice kinda catch me right off. Then that mystery of who that guy in the game is. Not to mention later on who Masaki is exactly (other than reminding me of Tim Burton's Willy Wonka that is). and Youga's got lovely eyes....

but yeah it's kinda important to like the main chara... well no not really, I hated Kobato... but loved the series. XD

Masaki is exactly (other than reminding me of Tim Burton's Willy Wonka
that is). ***Grell from Wonderland OVA more reminded me of :)

The guy trying all thse cards in the bank machine alone made me want to turn it off

LOL. Oh well, the rest of the sries outweighed the character ^^ Kobato i didn't last long as pretty as it is. CCS, Tsubasa, XXXHolic, Chobits I didn't watch of CLAMP's. MKR, RG Veda, Angelic Layer, X/1999, X TV, only for me.

Masaki is the weird guy lol
Youga is the brown haired boy (CV: Uchiyama Kouki)

series has the same director as Mononoke, which may explain a lot of things... XD
