they have: Cluster Edge, Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto & Hakouki licensed.
Im interested in ClusterS & Iroha the most tho.

for Cluster Edge: "Sentai Filmworks will release the series and OVA with extras as a subtitled-only DVD release." <-- that's fine by me.
will rename Iroha to: "Intrigue in the Bakumatsu ~ Irohanihoheto" for whatever reason and is leaving any other details of the release as a secret for now... srsly don't waste money dubbing this one in english, pls for the love of gods...

will dub hakouki to torture the masses with bad english VA acting im sure.

now if only they'd release No.6 (on BD preferably) instead of just announcing more shit....

Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto too? *cough*not finished watching yet still*cough*

Cluster Edge was more surprised it got licenced at all.

Since ADV morphed to Sentai I don't think I've gotten any titles... can get via Amazon ca readily?

JP trip? One doujinshi but doubt would find in a shop (even though it's not too old) and some shitajiki but I'd need to send images... otherwise nothing else readily can get. Doomo.

Hope you aced all the courses you were tackling and job hasn't been a complete stress factor and no new injuries.

I love Cluster Edge, and remember how hard it was to get all the episodes. I don't even know if I saw the OAVs... good cast tho.

Iroha was a bit "slow" at times, but I somehow got through it lol But I did really like the ending. Depending on price I may have to re-watch it.

Hakukouki... im like 3 eps into the 2nd series... and the 3rd is coming and a movie or 5... >___>'''' (2 of these shows have Yoshino Hiroyuki...)

I got CLANNAD via amazon, and it's from Sentai, or at least the first release with subs only was. Also saw it in "Cinema 1" in the mall.

CLuster Edge was good. Didn't realize or remember an OVA for it though.

Hakukouki I've only finished the first series so far.

OOps, I lied, Kaichou Maid-sama was released by Sentai which I got from amazon.

I don't think we have Cinema 1 in BC. Slim pickings for anime in actual shops around here.

ADV don't do great English dubs imo. My fave has to be Funimation and only because my sister will only watch anime that is dubbed, so I have watched a lot of dubbed anime of late that I have obviously only watched subbed: Darker than BLACK, Tsubasa, Fruits Basket and Vampire Knight wasn't bad but not good either and right now we are watching Romeo x Juliet.

It is good news that more anime is being licensed, but when they ruin it with bad English VA's it really takes the fun out of buying licensed anime.

I was surprised that Blue Exorcist wasn't dubbed tho! I really wanted my sister to watch this one and we only get subbed licensed stuff kind of also confuses me after all they licensed the series and then don't bother dubbing it?

Might buy Hakouki..

Only a hand full of English dubbed anime have ever got my approval and those would be Cowboy Bebop, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust and Howl's Moving Castle.

because you buy a license... then you have to pay for VAs, that's an extra truly unnecessary expense. Of course if the subbed only releases do really well and make them enough monies they may do a dubbed release later. It has happened before. But if I can get the series cheaper w/o an English dub that i'll never listen to, then that's even better.

sometimes i have my mom watch anime, but if she needs to watch it in English I can't be there. Unless it's Cowboy Bebop or some other series that makes use of Digimon VAs or Ocean Group casts such as: escaflowne, Gundam W etc... and especially not if it involves Crispin Freeman. ick.

I agree. I buy certain anime for myself and those will only ever be subbed, but because my sister is interested in certain series I have got the licensed anime for her to watch, but I can sit and watch them to a point~ I hate most dubs, one of the worst being Chrno Crusade and omg my ears bleed trying to watch Gravitation dubbed!! Never again!

I can't stand BL dubbing, it just doesn't seem right XDD

I like Darker than BLACK dubs. It took me ages to get used to, but my sister is obsessed with this series and I've watched it a lot of times now. So I can be in the room when she watches them.

Crispin Freeman has a voice that I am not a fan of. Shame as I was going to buy Durarara!!
